Step 3: Constantly appreciate what you have by treating it like what you want.
The key to this step is appreciation. Appreciate means to recognize the full worth of something. The only way for you to recognize the full worth of what you have is by maintaining a Positive Present Perspective. Once you appreciate what you have, you can then maintain this appreciation by treating what you have as if it were what you wanted. The demonstration of your appreciation creates the feeling that you already have what you want, even if you have not obtained it yet. This is powerful because your brain cannot tell the difference between imagination and reality so the more you demonstrate appreciation for what you have, as if it were what we want, the faster you will attract that which you desire into your life.
One way to practice appreciating what you have is by mindfully treating what you have like what you want. Based on your current goals, dedicate time each day to spend acting as if. If you want to become more compassionate, demonstrate compassion towards yourself. You can do this by celebrating the small wins you experience throughout the week by doing something you enjoy (self-care). Or if you want to have a brand-new car, treat the car you have as if it were the car you want. You can do this by keeping the car you have clean from the inside out.
The quality of your perspective will determine the quality of your experience along your journey. By maintaining a Positive Present Perspective, you will allow abundance to flow into your life as you effortlessly attract all that you desire.
In order to maintain a Positive Present Perspective, all you have to do is consistently be aware of your thoughts, fearlessly take accountability for your thought habits, and constantly appreciate what you have by treating it like what you want.
You can be, do, or have anything you desire. Once you know what you want, all you have to do is believe in your ability to succeed and maintain a positive present perspective as you take action toward the fulfillment of your goals each day.
